Diane Lane (Narrator)

Diane’s been singing for money for almost 30 years. She’s done this at lots of places. She’s not tired of it yet. She’s especially not tired of doing Fortuna.

Diane's voice was praised as “…stunning, velvet-toned…” by The Wall Street Journal. Diane has performed for more than 30 years with opera companies such as Santa Fe Opera, Glimmerglass Opera, Central City Opera, Chautauqua Opera, Opera Omaha, Des Moines Metro Opera, Lyric
Opera Cleveland, Toledo Opera, and Orlando Opera. She made her European debut at age 24 performing principal roles in Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro. Under the baton of Edo de Waart, she appeared as Fyodor in Boris Godunov with the Minnesota Orchestra and as
Wellgunde in Götterdämmerung at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam. Locally, she’s played roles in almost 25 Skylight Music Theatre shows and over ten Milwaukee Opera Theatre productions. Besides performing, Diane teaches singing at Concordia University Wisconsin and her private studio, and is a practitioner of the Feldenkrais Method® of movement education.

Jonathan Stewart (Joe)

Jonathan couldn’t be happier to once again throw on his cape and return to Anyville. Countless thanks to Jason Powell for creating this role of a lifetime!

Jonathan was most recently seen in Skylight Music Theatre’s production of "La Cage aux Folles." Other Skylight appearances include "Sunday In The Park With George," "Adding Machine: A Musical," and "Irving Berlin's White Christmas." Favorite past roles include Mr. Ernest in "Pal Joey;" Rocky in "Damn Yankees;" Rudy in "The Christmas Schooner;" and Mr. Erlanson in "A Little Night Music." As always, much love to Bryce and Oscar.
